ACCOMODATIONS PROGRAM
At the Kentucky Basketball Commission, we're dedicated to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participating teams. As part of this commitment, we've implemented a hotel program that contributes to the success and convenience of our tournaments. Please take a moment to review our hotel policy
Hotel Program Requirement
All teams participating in Kentucky Basketball Commission events are required to participate in our hotel program. This program is designed to provide teams with comfortable and convenient lodging options during their stay, ensuring a seamless tournament experience. Teams that are required to secure accommodations must secure a minimum of 6 rooms per night.
Distance Requirement
For teams traveling from more than 100 miles or 150 kilometers to our tournaments, securing hotels through our hotel provider, Tournkey, is mandatory. We've partnered with Tournkey to offer you a range of accommodations that suit your needs.
Custom Hotel Requests
We understand that your team's preferences may vary. While we encourage teams to choose from our partner list, we do allow requests for hotels not listed on our partner list. However, teams making such requests are required to secure a minimum of 8 rooms per team per night.

Minimum Night Policies
Teams required to secure accommodations will be required to do so on all qualifying nights. Qualifying nights are defined by dates with game play on consecutive days e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday games would result in 2 qualified nights.

Opt-Out Option
Teams have the option to opt out of our hotel program. However, please note that an opt-out fee of $250 will be applicable. This fee helps us maintain the quality of our events and services.
Use of Alternative Lodging Tools
We want to make it clear that teams utilizing alternative lodging tools such as Airbnb or VRBO will not be exempt from the opt-out fee. There are no exceptions to this policy.
